The Foula Snood has been a Woolly Thistle favorite since the pattern was first published in the Shetland Wool Week Annual 2018*.  This snood (cowl) features an all-over pattern, knit with Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight yarn in cream and grey. The Foula Snood is knit in the round as one long piece and then grafted to make a cozy loop of warmth.Â

This kit includes the yarn to create the pattern as written, however it is easy to knit the snood longer if you wish. If you d like to add length, you may want to purchase additional balls of J&S which you ll find here.  Â
